ABOUT WALKER

The brand's history traces back to the year 1908, when William A. Walker and his sons, Williard and Warren, started a 'Walker Operation'. In 1912, they began manufacturing ‘tire savers’, which took the weight off the tires when cars were stored for the winter. In 1916, a new production facility was built in Wisconsin, and the name 'Walker Manufacturing Company' was officially introduced. Now, they have an extensive online catalog offering a multitude of exhaust products.

With a growing number of vehicles on the road, the need for limiting pollutants arose, and in 1978, after years of researching and designing the forerunners of today's emissions control devices, Walker developed the first aftermarket catalytic converter.
