Hard starts don’t just necessarily mean problems under the hood. A common issue is having a stuck or worn Ignition Lock Cylinder, with the key hesitating in one or more positions. Located behind the lock cylinder is the Ignition Switch Actuator Pin, take the time to inspect this for any electrical damage also. Drivers can also have trouble inserting or removing the key. Similar gripes come from defective Door Lock Actuators with the power functionality disabled.
